General Nursing & Midwives

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) program is a 3.5-year diploma course comprising 3 years of academic study and a mandatory 6-month clinical internship. It trains students in patient care, midwifery, and emergency support, preparing them to become Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RNRM) professionals.

1st Year : Focuses on human anatomy, physiology, microbiology, fundamental nursing principles, basic medical procedures, hygiene, and nutrition.
2nd Year : Covers Medical-Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing, and Mental Health/Psychiatric Nursing.
3rd Year : Delves into Midwifery, Gynecological Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, and Emergency and First Aid techniques.
Internship : A 6-month hands-on clinical practicum in hospitals and private medical firms.
